The contract is for a lease term commensurate with the proposed financial investment into the facilities. The City is required under the Federal Aviation Administration's Grant Assurances to receive market value for the lease of Airport land. The ground rental rate shall initially be at least $45,000 per acre per year. The ground rental rate is subject to annual rental adjustments and periodic adjustments to fair market value.
